Chris's Crates

With Gabby growing older and bigger, (but not up), it was time for another dog food stand.
So I went shopping - online. There were many choices but mainly from two groups: the chrome plated industrial looking "icky" wire group and the "sooo-cute-it-could-make-you-puke group. Then I came across some stands made out of wooden crates. Chris and I both liked the concept and execution but not the price: somewhere in the range of "your first-born".
However, that wasn't a problem as one of Chris's many talents is woodworking. All we needed were crates. One Saturday, while out running errands, we passed a warehouse-sized building that turned out to be the "Big Lots" of booze. We went in to ask about the availability of empty crates. We were pleasantly surprised to find a stack just inside the door with a sign: "Any crate $5.00." Wooo Hooo!

I just love the name on the crates ... Devil's Castle!
