The process has been simplified by providing a plastic mat to help with calculations. Not only will the gridlines help you with design placement, it can also help with custom design work. Performing custom design work is fun and effortless. A wet erase maker is included in a kit to mark your custom designs. This marker writes nicely on the mat and wipes off easily with a little water. The PatternGrid® can be used for many applications including, but not limited to the following:
The grid was designed to make the use of pantographs and pattern placement easier for the long-arm/short-arm quilter. No more guesswork on whether or not your pattern is straight or if it will fit.
