Caution:
This design contains backtracking and is recommended for experienced quilters only. Testing on practice fabric to find the proper speed and stitch length prior to quilting on projects is suggested. Slower speed and shorter stitch length may be necessary to obtain accuracy.

SizesDue to all of the backtracking this is a rather dense pattern. Very happy with the final result. I chose this pattern because the webs are different sizes and appear scattered rather than uniform and linear.
I use the PAT format on my machine. The pattern size for my format imported at 15”H X 13.65”W X 430.51"L. I did not resize the pattern and stitched using 12 stitches per inch stitch length. The overall density was 35 - 40 stitches per square inch.

Very stitch intensiveThis design has a lot of backstitching. One design took 7 minutes to stitch and with 8 designs in a row, this took a long time to quilt 8 rows. Plan accordingly for a lengthy stitchout.

SpiderwebI love this design even though it has a LOT of backstitching. It stitches out beautifully and isn’t too difficult to keep the rows lined up well. It looks fantastic on my Halloween themed quilt!
